Hezbollah announces martyrdom of Sayyed Hashem Safieddine
The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon announces the martyrdom of Hezbollah Executive Council chief Sayyed Hashem Safieddine at the hands of the Israeli occupation forces.
Hezbollah announced the martyrdom of Sayyed Hashem Safieddine, the head of the Executive Council of the Resistance movement, in an Israeli airstrike that took place days ago. Safieddine, a key figure in the Lebanese resistance movement, was killed alongside several of his fellow fighters, in what the Resistance condemned as a "criminal and aggressive Zionist airstrike."
In a heartfelt statement, Hezbollah paid tribute to Safieddine, describing him as a "great leader and esteemed martyr on the path to al-Quds." The statement emphasized that he was martyred content and patient, accepting his fate as a martyr.
Safieddine's death is a significant loss for Hezbollah, with the latter comparing his relationship with martyred Hezbollah Secretary-General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah to that of al-Abbas and Imam Hussein. Al-Abbas was Imam Hussein's stepbrother, and he was martyred while attempting to procure water during what is known as the battle of Karbala, when the entire family of Imam Hussein was under siege by the army of Yazid bin Mu'awiyah, who was waging an unjust war against them that did not discriminate between child and soldier, much like the Israelis are doing.
Sayyed Safieddine was praised as Sayyed Nasrallah's loyal brother, supporter, and the bearer of his banner. "He was his brother, his right hand, his trusted companion in hardships, and his trustee in times of difficulty," the statement read, likening him to the revered figures of early Islamic history who defended their faith.
Throughout his life, Sayyed Safieddine dedicated his efforts to serving Hezbollah, the Islamic Resistance, and its community. For many years, he led the Executive Council with responsibility and expertise, overseeing the organization's institutions and operational units across various fields. He remained close to the fighters on the ground and maintained a deep connection with the public, especially the families of martyrs, the statement added. His dedication was honored with his martyrdom, "joining the luminous convoy of the martyrs of Karbala."
Hezbollah extended its condolences to Imam Mahdi, Iranian leader Sayyed Ali Khamenei, and the global Islamic religious seminaries, as well as to Sayyed Safieddine's family. The group also reaffirmed its commitment to continuing the path of resistance, vowing to achieve freedom and victory.
The statement translated in full:
We eulogize to the nation of martyrs and fighters, the nation of resistance and victory, a great leader and an esteemed martyr on the path to al-Quds, the head of Hezbollah’s Executive Council, the honorable scholar Sayyed Hashem Safieddine, may God bless his soul. He departed to his Lord, alongside the finest of his fellow fighters, content and accepted, patient and devoted, in a criminal and aggressive Zionist airstrike.
Sayyed Hashem joined his brother, our dearest and most revered martyr, Hezbollah Secretary-General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah. He was indeed a true brother to him, standing by his side as Al-Abbas stood by Imam Hussein, peace be upon them. He was his brother, his support, the bearer of his banner, the source of his trust, and his reliance in times of hardship. He followed the path of those who fought in the Battle of Badr, defending God's religion, pious, righteous, a leader, a strategist, a commander, and a martyr.
Sayyed Hashem Safieddine dedicated his life to the service of Hezbollah, the Islamic Resistance, and its community. For many years, he responsibly and skillfully managed the Executive Council, its various institutions, and its operational units in all fields, staying close to the fighters and deeply connected to the public. He loved the families of the martyrs until God honored him with martyrdom, joining the luminous convoy of the martyrs of Karbala.
We offer our condolences to the Awaited Imam, may God hasten his reappearance, to the esteemed Leader of the Muslims, may God protect him, to the blessed religious seminaries across the Islamic world, to his fellow fighters in the Islamic Resistance, and to his honorable, patient, and devoted family. We ask God to grant them beautiful patience and the reward of this life and the hereafter.
We pledge to our great martyr and his fellow martyrs to continue on the path of resistance and jihad until we achieve its goals of freedom and victory.

Sayyed Safieddine left behind 'inspiring legacy': Pezeshkian
Hezbollah announced on Wednesday the martyrdom of Sayyed Safieddine in an Israeli airstrike that took place days ago.
Iran's President Masoud Pezeshkian has expressed his condolences following the killing of top Hezbollah commander Sayyed Hashem Safieddine in an Israeli attack in Lebanon.
Hezbollah announced on Wednesday the martyrdom of Sayyed Safieddine in an Israeli airstrike that took place days ago. Safieddine, a key figure in the Lebanese Resistance, was killed alongside several of his fellow fighters, in what the Resistance condemned as a "criminal and aggressive Zionist airstrike."
In a heartfelt statement, Hezbollah paid tribute to Sayyed Safieddine, describing him as a "great leader and esteemed martyr on the path to al-Quds." The statement emphasized that he was martyred content and patient, accepting his fate as a martyr.
In a Wednesday statement, Pezeshkian said that Sayyed Safieddine dedicated his life to defending the oppressed in Palestine and Lebanon and strengthening the resistance.
The president further said that Sayyed Safieddine left behind a " brilliant legacy of struggle and resistance" that will remain illuminated.
Major General Hossein Salami, the head commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), also expressed condolences on Wednesday, expressing that events in West Asia, notably in Lebanon and Palestine, demonstrate that Western powers are fully set on "sacrificing humanity and resistance" to sustain the Zionist system.
The IRGC chief noted that these aspirations will be futile in the face of "warriors" which are trained by faith "through their selflessness, sacrifices, and unparalleled historical heroism," citing that the end of the Israeli occupation will come soon.

Hezbollah kills +70 Israeli soldiers and destroys 28 tanks in Lebanon
The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon's operations room has released a field summary of the ground confrontations at the border between Lebanon and occupied Palestine, detailing the achievements of Hezbollah’s missile force, air force, and air defense forces.
On Wednesday evening, the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon's operations room issued a field summary of the ground confrontations between Hezbollah fighters and Israeli occupation forces in southern Lebanon, at the border with occupied Palestine. It highlighted the achievements of Hezbollah's missile force, air force, and air defense forces.
The operations room report confirmed the continued resistance to the Israeli aggression on Lebanon, inflicting heavy losses on the Israeli occupation forces in terms of personnel and equipment across the five axis of confrontation, extending from Lebanon's border towns into occupied Palestine.
According to the Resistance's assessment, Israeli losses include more than 70 dead and 600 injured among Israeli occupation officers and soldiers, along with the destruction of 28 Merkava tanks, 4 military bulldozers, an armored vehicle, and a troop carrier. Additionally, three Hermes 450 drones and one Hermes 900 drone were downed.
This tally does not include the losses sustained by the occupation forces at bases, military sites, and barracks in northern and deeper areas of occupied Palestine, as noted by the Islamic Resistance operations room in Lebanon.
Regarding ground confrontations, the operations room emphasized that Israeli occupation forces have been unable to fully control or occupy any village along the frontlines.
The report outlined recent ground confrontations, highlighting several failed attempts by Israeli forces to advance toward villages on the frontlines in an effort to capture and control them.
Hezbollah fighters have repelled these attempts at multiple fronts, including:
First axis: The 146th Division area of operations
This axis extends from Naqoura in the west to Marwahin in the east.
The Israeli aggressions along this axis were limited to attempts to infiltrate the southern neighborhoods of the villages of Marwahin, Dhayra, Yarin, and Alma al-Shaab, to plant explosives in homes, fearing Hezbollah fighters would use them.
Hezbollah fighters countered these attempts, targeting Israeli forces and their advancement paths at Ras Naqoura, Hanita, and the surroundings of Dhayra.
Second axis: The 36th Division area of operations
This axis stretches from Ramiyah in the west to Rmeish in the east (including Aita al-Shaab), and from Rmeish to Ayta al-Jabal in the east.
After last week's fierce confrontations in the Aita al-Shaab-Al-Qawzah-Ramiyah triangle, where the occupation suffered heavy losses from Hezbollah's fire, Israeli occupation forces have attempted in recent days to advance towards Abu Labban heights, east of Aita al-Shaab, to occupy and control the town.
Hezbollah fighters repelled these occupation forces, targeting Israeli gatherings and advancement routes in Khallet Wardeh and the outskirts of Aita al-Shaab. They also struck several Israeli troops that infiltrated near the municipal building, causing confirmed casualties among them. IOF evacuation operations took hours due to Hezbollah's repeated strikes.
Third axis: The 91st Division area of operations
This axis stretches from Blida in the south to Houla in the north.
Israeli occupation forces advanced through concealed routes towards the eastern neighborhoods of Mays al-Jabal, Muhaybib, and Blida, planting explosives in some homes and blowing them up.
Israeli occupation forces also attempted to advance into eastern neighborhoods of Houla but were met with fierce resistance from Hezbollah fighters.
Fourth axis: The 98th Division area of operations
This axis extends from Markaba in the south to the Lebanese-occupied village of Ghajar in the east.
Israeli occupation forces attempted to infiltrate Tayba from the south and east but were repelled by Hezbollah fighters with machine guns and missiles, causing significant casualties among the infiltrating force.
An Israeli support force attempting to evacuate IOF casualties was also repelled, suffering further losses.
Fifth axis: The 210th Division area of operations
This axis stretches from Ghajar village to the Shebaa Farms.
Israeli occupation forces have tried to advance in Kfar Shuba and Shebaa, attempting to seize defensive positions near the border. However, Hezbollah fighters have been targeting Israeli troops, fortifications, and military sites in this area with missile fire, inflicting significant losses.
Summary
Missile Force: Hezbollah's operations room confirmed that the missile force continues to target Israeli troops, military sites, and barracks along the Lebanese-Palestinian border and within occupied northern Palestine. The strikes also reach deep into "Israel's" strategic and military bases.
These operations are steadily increasing day by day, using various types of missiles, including precision missiles that were used for the first time.
Air Force: Similarly, Hezbollah's air force continues to monitor and strike Israeli military bases from the Lebanese-Palestinian border into occupied Palestine, deploying drones, including advanced models used for the first time.
Air Defense Unit: Additionally, Hezbollah’s air defense units have been actively engaging Israeli reconnaissance and combat drones and aircraft over Lebanon, downing four drones.

Israel uses massacres, bombings of shelters and hospitals as part of its systematic strategy to evacuate northern Gaza
by Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor
Palestinian Territory – Israel is systematically and extensively working to drive out the Palestinian population and forcibly displace them from their residential areas in the northern Gaza Strip, using massacres, mass killings, bombings of hospitals and shelters, and the destruction of basic necessities of life. Euro-Med Monitor notes that the basic necessities of life across the Strip, particularly in the north, have already been deteriorating for 12 months.
The Israeli army’s on-the-ground massacres show that the plan to rid the land of its people and eradicate the Palestinian presence is moving forward at an unprecedented pace. Locals who are unable or unwilling to leave their homes are viewed as “terrorists” and are subject to direct targeting and killing.
Along with the Jabalia camp in the northern Gaza Strip, where Israeli aircraft dropped leaflets on Tuesday morning, October 22, urging residents of Beit Lahia, including those in shelters and hospitals, to forcibly evacuate and head towards the Indonesian Hospital in Jabalia, where the occupation forces set up a checkpoint before forcing the residents to leave northern Gaza, as happened over the past two days with thousands of people in the shelters surrounding the Indonesian Hospital, the Israeli occupation army also increased the scope and intensity of its military operations to include the Beit Lahia project.
The Israeli army ordered the evacuation of the Kamal Adwan Hospital in the Beit Lahia project, which houses the greatest number of victims of the Israeli aggression, after the medical staff refused to evacuate it during the initial days of the previous aggression. Israel’s latest forced displacement order includes the hospital.
The hospital’s operations are severely hampered by a shortage of medical supplies and blood units, ongoing shelling in the area, and the exhaustion of medical personnel from treating hundreds of dying and injured people over the course of 18 days.
The majority of the shelter centres in the Jabalia and Jabalia camps have been bombed by Israeli forces, who also targeted the displaced people while they were responding to the displacement orders and evacuation plans. This targeting was repeated yesterday (Monday 21 October), when the Al-Fawqa schools were targeted, resulting in the killing of 17 Palestinians and the injury of numerous others.
The Israeli occupation army tightened the noose around the Beit Lahia project after many Jabalia residents who were unwilling to leave the area sought refuge there. The occupation army enforced a siege on the Beit Lahia project with fire and demanded that its residents and the displaced people sheltering there leave.
The Israeli occupation army is also systematically destroying water stations, bakeries, streets, and agricultural lands—some of which were replanted to accommodate the population’s needs after the entry of any vegetables was prohibited in recent months—in the northern Gaza Strip.
In Beit Lahia’s Al-Shimaa neighbourhood, the Israeli occupation army killed three farmers, including agricultural engineer Youssef Saqr Abu Rabie. Months ago, Abu Rabie started an agricultural project in the northern Gaza Strip to combat the Israeli-imposed famine.
Over the course of the last 18 days, the Israeli army has destroyed and burned hundreds of homes in northern Gaza, particularly in the Jabalia camp. Nearly 700 people have been killed and over a thousand have been injured, and many more are still trapped under the debris of their homes and in shelters that have been targeted. Because of the Israeli siege and the imposition of a travel ban, it is impossible to recover these victims and evacuate them to safety.
Given that the Israeli army is carrying out systematic and widespread mass and individual killings; a deliberate starvation campaign; mass forced displacements; and the complete destruction of what remains of the most basic necessities of life, the United Nations must declare the northern Gaza Strip a disaster area that requires immediate interventions. It should also compel Israel to stop the genocide and protect civilians in the north and across the entire Gaza Strip. Euro-Med Monitor emphasises that the international community, including the UN, is complicit in the most heinous of crimes—genocide—because the vast majority of its members have not moved to actually put a stop to what is happening.

War on Gaza and How the US and Israel Dehumanizing Human Culture
Today’s Humanity is Victim of Powerful Political Cults
by Mahboob A. Khawaja, PhD.
The trajectory of daily aerial bombardments, targeted killings of fellow human beings, planned destruction of human habitats and cries for help by innocent children, men and women go unanswered for more than a year. It is madness, inhumanity, complete breakdown and impotence of global organizations such as the UNO and its Security Council and complete indifference of global leaders to challenge the animosities perpetuated by Israel and bombed by using American supplied weapons on the masses who should be protected by the so-called civilized world of the 21st century if there is any left intact.
The global thinking hubs wondered how to avert tyranny and oppression to safeguard the innocent people of Gaza. President Biden and Secretary Blinken claimed to be deescalating the war in the Middle East and focusing on humanitarian aid desperately needed by the entrapped civilians across Gaza, but they appear preoccupied in sending THAAT and weapons of mass destruction to level Gaza and make it available to Israeli settlers. Their words and actions are self-contradictory, treacherous and misleading as Israel extends bombardment on Lebanon to crush the will of the civilian population for security and survival. Essentials of human survival are being weaponized. Global humanity must be concerned, why Israel is stopping food, medicine and water supplies to the entrapped civilians in the Northern strip and why it is repeatedly bombing the Al-Aqsa hospital and places of worship across Gaza? PM Netanyahu and his Far-Right extremists coalition live in a political fantasy not representative of the people of Israel. The contradictions covered up adroit formulation but continue to haunt the Israeli masses for peace and belonging to the land of Palestine:
People of Israel Feel Denied Freedom and Curse of Political Lies
Ari Shavit (“Israel Takes its Last Breath”, Haaretz, Israel: 10/8/24), clarfies the essence of current affairs: It appears we have passed the point of no return, and it may be that “Israel” can no longer end the occupation, stop colonization, or achieve peace. It seems impossible to reform Zionism, save democracy, and divide the people of this land.
He added: If the situation is as it is, then: There is no reason to live in this country. There is no reason to write in “Haaretz.”
There is no reason to read “Haaretz.” We must follow what Rogel Alpher suggested two years ago—leave the country… If “Israelism” and Jewishness are no longer a vital part of one’s identity, and if every Israeli citizen holds a foreign passport, not only technically but psychologically, then it’s over. We should say goodbye to our friends and move to San Francisco, Berlin, or Paris.
Ari Shavit points out: The curse of lies is what haunts the Israelis, and day after day it strikes them in the face in the form of a knife in the hand of a Jerusalemite, Hebronite, or Nabulsi, or with a stone or from a bus driver from Jaffa, Haifa, or Acre. The Israelis realize they have no future in Palestine; this is not a land without a people as they falsely claimed. Another writer acknowledges not just the existence of the Palestinian people but rather their superiority over the Israelis. This is Gideon Levy, the leftist Zionist, who says: https://just-international.org/articles/israel-takes-its-last-br
Aluf Benn, Editor, Haaretz: “Israel’s Paradox of Defeat” (Transcend Media: 10/16/24), spells out the fear of common citizens: But even with the IDF occupying about a third of Gaza’s territory, to many Israelis, the current situation feels like defeat. …..This calamitous stasis, coupled with Israel’s growing global isolation and increasingly gloomy economic outlook, contribute to a national sense of hopelessness and despair. In fact, paradoxically, important facets of Israeli politics and society have changed surprisingly little since the immediate aftermath of Hamas’s attack. Citizens of border communities in the north and the south remain unable to return to their homes. Rather than uniting Jewish Israelis against a common external enemy, Israel’s now multifront fight against its external enemies has only widened preexisting social and political fissures between Netanyahu’s opponents and his supporters. Beating the expectations of his foes and his friends alike, Netanyahu continues to act as the center of gravity in Israeli politics. The right-wing coalition that keeps him in power has amped up its quest to crush the Palestinian statehood movement and “replace the Israeli elite,” a euphemism for demolishing Israel’s democratic and liberal institutions. https://www.transcend.org/tms/2024/10/israels-paradox-of-defeat/
The thinking Israelis are fast awakening to question the doctrine of Zionism, acclaimed Jewish superiority over others and systems of fake democracy. The 21st century age of knowledge and human expectations offer a grim picture of the present and future in-waiting. Israeli citizenry protesting against the war and calling for an immediate ceasefire, return of hostages and peace wants PM Netanyahu to resign alleging he is inept, greedy, self-centered who heavily rely on Israeli extremist policies and practices to undermine their future. Once in power, is Netanyahu irrelevant, problematic and paranoid to see the people’s interests? Biden and Netanyahu both appear to have lost sense of reality and awareness and most importantly, consciousness of the self and the political environment around them. They have become psychopaths who baffle with time and tides of political mismanagement, wars on mankind and destroy cultures and civilizations to overrun those who challenge their obsessed ignorance and viciousness.
Living time and encompassing realities demanding a navigational change are ignored in political statements, policies and actions. Aggressive cults are working across America and Israel mysteriously as if Joe Biden, Blinken and Netanyahu would have an infinite lifespan. They breathe oxygen in a self-generated conflict zone without any accountability. The cults used them for their own vested interests. Every egoistic leader is an enemy of the self and mankind. Throughout history men of power and influence commit horrible crimes against the humanity of which they are an essential part. Why? The answer lies with their individualistic absolutism and mindset. Is it part of the human nature that man should be cruel against man? We, the People are at a RISK of Extinction. Global warriors are the elite class born to rule – the men of king, who are most often hated and feared and always dream of glory and triumph to achieve at a cost of ruthlessness, triviality and success leading to degeneration and viciousness across the human societies. They are influential to defy accountability for their crimes.
We, the People, and Earth Sustains Life and Humanity and Our Enemies Destroy It
The Earth was a Divine “trust” to mankind for its existence, survival and progress. We, the people of the Earth, are standing and moving faster than the speed of sound. It could be hard to imagine or believe it. But you were standing on solid ground, and not in the cockpit of a supersonic jet. At any given moment, we are all moving at a speed of about 1,674 kilometers an hour, thanks to the Earth’s rotation and thanks to the Creator of the Earth. We live on Earth created by God for Man and Humanity and all other living beings: In Chapter 23: verse 72, The Quran makes a vivid revelation:
“We did indeed offer the Trust to the Heavens and the Earth. And the Mountains but they refused
to undertake it, being afraid thereof: But man undertook it;
He was indeed unjust and foolish.”
Western cultures are neglectful of the memory of God and lack rational understanding of the imperatives of living Earth and how it sustains life and humanity and all that could be imagined. Does reason operate the functionalities of the Earth or is it the Command of God to ensure miraculous operations for billions of years? Is it unreasonable to believe in the Divine Revelations and be the People of REASON?Earth’s average orbital speed is about 30 kilometers per second. In other units, that’s about 19 miles per second, or 67,000 miles per hour, or 110,000 kilometers per hour (110 million meters per hour). The earth rotates once every 23 hours, 56 minutes and 4.09053 seconds, called the sidereal period, and its circumference is roughly 40,075 kilometers. Thus, the surface of the earth at the equator moves at a speed of 460 meters per second–or roughly 1,000 miles per hour. Across the varied spectrums of human thoughts hardly any thinking people reflect upon the existing and continuous balanced environmental gases which sustain the living creatures on earth. Our environment contains 78% nitrogen, 21% oxygen, 0.97% argon and carbon dioxide 0.04% and the air safeguards the atmosphere and life on earth by absorbing ultraviolet solar radiation and reducing the temperature extremes in constant and systematic changing of days and nights.
The US and Israel could be Charged by the ICJ for Crimes against Humanity and Genocide
Wars kill people and destroy human habitats. Yet, the paranoid and most hated maniacs put up a show of war celebrations – a success achieved by strangulating the humanity – cost of ruthlessness, human degeneration and lack of imagination. To glance ahead it seems that the Western world failed to see a dreadful tragic history in the making of the end of time and loss of ingenuity to understand the consequences of naive egoism of Israeli leadership making war as an instrument of territorial expansion and conquest across Palestine, Lebanon and the larger Arab Middle East. If Lebanon had responsible public institutions and leadership they should have formed a legtimate government to encounter the Israeli onslaught. Not so, they appear their own enemies working against the interest of people just like the Arab-Muslim leaders lacking a sense of honesty and capacity, unable to challenge the US-Israel war against the helpless masses of Gaza. The Israeli leaders prophesize “greater Israel” and the US hegemoney over the oil exporting Arab states. The Arab-Muslim leaders could well be described as a scum floating on a torrent. If Israel is not stopped, soon the leading oil exporting Arab states could fly Israeli-American flags for a change. Please see “How Arab Leaders Betray Islam and Defy the Logice of Political Change, Peace and Security.” https://www.uncommonthought.com/mtblog/archives/2023/10/07/how-did-arab-leaders-betrayed-islam-and-defied-the-logic-of-political-change-peace-and-security.php
The UNO and its Security Council and the EU shamefully became dubious and void in the 21st century global norms of civility, human rights, freedom, justice and safety of civilians. The UNSC resolutions for ceasefire and peace turned out to be a joke to mankind’s hopes as Israel refused to honor them. The US and Israeli leaders are not conscious of their own end game and could be charged and prosecuted for crimes against humanity and genocide. PM Netanyahu and his extremist regime would see Gaza and occupied West Bank more like an experimental lab for that end game.Animals live and do not reflect on the imperatives of life whereas, we, the human beings cannot act like animals as we are supposed to be intelligent and responsible species on this Earth. At the edge of reason, the notion of evil leads to realization of evil and tyranny of war must be stopped by all means and those responsible for the genocide and crimes against humanity must be held accountable to restore the manifestation of a sustainable human future.
