Israel kills 51 more Gazans as death toll surpasses 43,600

More than 102,900 Palestinians injured in Israeli onslaught since Oct. 7, 2023, Gaza's Health Ministry says

At least 51 more Palestinians were killed in Israeli attacks in the Gaza Strip, bringing the overall death toll since last year to 43,603, the Health Ministry in the enclave said on Sunday.

A ministry statement added that some 102,929 others were injured in the ongoing assault.

“Israeli forces killed 51 people and injured 164 others in three massacres of families in the last 24 hours,” the ministry said.

“Many people are still trapped under the rubble and on the roads as rescuers are unable to reach them,” it added.

Flouting a UN Security Council resolution calling for an immediate cease-fire, Israel has continued its brutal offensive on the Gaza Strip since an attack by the Palestinian group Hamas on Oct. 7, 2023.

The Israeli onslaught has displaced almost the entire population of the territory amid an ongoing blockade that has led to severe shortages of food, clean water, and medicine.

Mediation efforts led by the US, Egypt, and Qatar to reach a Gaza cease-fire and prisoner swap agreement between Israel and Hamas have failed over Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's refusal to halt the war.

Israel also faces a genocide case at the International Court of Justice for its actions in Gaza.

Israel killed 3,186 in Lebanon as massacres, strikes escalate

The Israeli aggression is escalating against Lebanon's South and Bekaa regions, with numerous massacres committed and several residential areas bombed severely.

The Lebanese Ministry of Public Health, through its Public Health Emergency Operations Center, released its daily report on Sunday outlining the toll from ongoing Israeli airstrikes on Lebanon. The ministry reported that, as of Saturday, the total toll of the war on Lebanon has reached 3,186 martyrs and 14,078 injuries.

In recent developments, Israeli airstrikes on Saturday claimed the lives of 53 civilians and left 99 others wounded.

Intensified strikes across Southern Lebanon

The Israeli Air Force conducted multiple airstrikes across southern Lebanon, hitting various civilian targets, including in the town of al-Shahabiya, where an airstrike devastated a residential area, resulting in the loss of life and additional injuries. Another airstrike targeted a home in the town of Marwanieh, killing one individual and wounding numerous others.

Around 4:30 pm, an airstrike on a residence in the village of Jmayjmeh, in the Bint Jbeil district, killed three people.

The Israeli occupation forces also launched artillery strikes, including shelling the western outskirts of Burj al-Mulouk and areas near Deir Mimas, close to the historical al-Shaqif Castle.

Tyre under heavy bombardment

The coastal region around Tyre has been particularly hard-hit, where in Burj Rahal, the Israeli Air Force targeted the Ain al-Touti area with airstrikes, causing widespread destruction. In another strike, a home in the town of Blat was hit, while the village of Khiam was subjected to artillery bombardment.

The ministry also reported a tragic incident in Deir Qanoun Ras al-Ain, where airstrikes struck a gathering point for medics. 14 people were killed in the attack, including seven emergency responders. This incident, which targeted rescue teams, has been condemned as a blatant violation of international humanitarian law.

In a separate aggression in the Jbeil district, an Israeli airstrike on the village of Almat killed 23 people, including seven children. Rescue teams retrieved bodies from the site, and ongoing identification efforts suggest the final death toll could rise further. Six additional people were reported wounded, some in critical condition. By yesterday evening, the toll in Alamat had risen to 24 dead and eight wounded.

Continued strikes on Saida, Nabatieh

The southern city of Saida witnessed multiple airstrikes, including attacks between the villages of Baysarieh and Qaaqaiyat al-Sanawbar. Another strike targeted areas near Adlousiyah, hitting the Khirb locality.

In the Nabatieh district, Israeli airstrikes were also reported between the areas of Jibsheet and Kfar Dajjal around 2:30 pm.

The Lebanese Ministry of Health continues to monitor the humanitarian impact of the conflict, which has seen escalating attacks on civilian areas, including medical and rescue operations, drawing calls for accountability under international law.

Bekaa under escalating aggression

The Lebanese Ministry of Public Health's Emergency Operations Center reported an increase in casualties from Israeli airstrikes targeting the Baalbek-Hermel region, which have led to several deaths and injuries across various locations in the region.

In a statement, the Emergency Operations Center confirmed an Israeli airstrike on the Zaghrine-Mazraat Sajed area, resulting in four deaths and one injury. Another strike in the town of Badnayel killed three civilians and wounded six others.

Further airstrikes targeted the village of Shaat in Baalbek-Hermel, where four additional civilians were killed. Meanwhile, an airstrike on the town of Ras al-Hadath resulted in the deaths of four family members: Nidal al-Haj Hassan, his wife, Iktimal, and their daughters, Israa and Batoul. Their third child, Youssef, was injured in the attack.

The ministry's report also detailed strikes against other parts of Baalbek-Hermel. An attack on Sar'een junction killed one and wounded seven others, while a strike on Bayt al-Lakkis neighborhood wounded three civilians.

Hezbollah's fighters non-stop rockets hammer Israeli soldiers, assets

As Operation People of Might continues, Hezbollah remains steadfast and valiant, raining rockets down over enemy soldiers, settlements, and military assets.

The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon - Hezbollah - continues carrying out ceaseless operations against the Israeli occupation, commencing its first of the day at exactly midnight on Sunday by bombarding an Israeli soldier gathering near Hasan's Gate in the southern Lebanese village of Shebaa using a rocket salvo.

Israeli enemy soldiers deployed in the Hagoshrim settlement in north al-Jalil, as well as in the eastern area between the Lebanese villages of Markaba and Houla, were both targeted with a rocket salvo each.

Hezbollah's Resistance fighters monitored and directly confronted an Israeli infantry force trying to infiltrate the southwestern outskirts of Aitaroun in South Lebanon, inflicting severe losses among its members, who fell casualty between killed and wounded.

Alongside Even Menachem, Hezbollah coordinated three other simultaneous attacks, making it four at 11:40, targeting each of the Shtula, Zar'it, and Shomera settlements with a rocket barrage each.

A squadron of one-way attack drones was deployed and accurately hit its target, an Israeli soldier gathering, in the Avivim settlement in northern occupied Palestine as well.

The Shraga military base, located north of the occupied city of Akka, was barraged with Hezbollah's rockets as its sixth operation takes course, at 11:08 am.

In the span of 20 minutes, between 1:30 and 1:50 pm, Hezbollah targeted an Israeli soldier gatherings in the al-Qaba hills on the southeastern outskirts of Markaba thrice, using three separate rocket barrages.

Hezbollah also announced three operations conducted on Saturday evening, two of which targeted Israeli soldier gatherings at the al-Abbad military site. The Islamic Resistance deployed a swarm of attack drones and a barrage of advanced rockets, hitting their targets accurately. The third targeted a grouping of Israeli soldiers stationed at Khirbet al-Manara, located between the Manara settlement and the al-Abbad border site, using a barrage of specialized rockets.

Escalating their operations, the Islamic Resistance carried out two attacks at 04:40 pm. In one operation, fighters launched a barrage of rockets at the Avital site, a technical and electronic reconnaissance center in the occupied Syrian Golan, marking the first assault on this facility. Simultaneously, a military bulldozer operating near the border wall in Kfar Kila was struck by a guided missile, resulting in its destruction and the killing and injuring of its crew.

Volatile weekend in occupied north

Meanwhile, Al Mayadeen's correspondent in the South reported rockets launched from Lebanon toward Nahariya, with sirens blasting soon after. Israeli media reported at least three confirmed casualties in the Ben Ami settlement so far.

The precise impact was made in a dining hall in the Tel Hai settlement's Industrial Zone, in upper al-Jalil. Reports confirmed that the rocket penetrated security systems without triggering alarms.

Sirens then renewed in each of Kiryat Shmona and Manara.

Israeli media described the state in the occupied north, particularly Haifa, its vicinity, and al-Jalil as "extremely volatile", particularly this weekend.

Hezbollah maintains the upper hand

Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth reported on Saturday that Hezbollah launched rockets toward Even Menachem in the Western al-Jalil from areas along the border, where the Israeli occupation forces were presumed to have completed their operations.

The report highlights growing frustration among northern settlers, who are skeptical of official reassurances about restored security and demand tangible proof of safety.

Citing Israeli security officials, media outlets noted that stopping rocket fire from Lebanon could not be achieved solely through ground operations, but rather through a political resolution.

Israeli Channel 12 emphasized a "severe frustration among settlers in northern Israel over statements by Israeli military leaders suggesting it is safe to return to their homes, despite ongoing rocket attacks from Hezbollah."

The channel further noted Hezbollah’s resilience, stating that the group "maintains its rocket capabilities, which will persist beyond the current conflict."

Qatar denies withdrawing from Gaza cease-fire mediation

Foreign Ministry spokesman says efforts stalled temporarily

Qatar denied on Saturday media reports claiming it has withdrawn from mediation efforts to achieve a cease-fire in the Gaza Strip, saying the efforts are stalled temporarily.

In a statement, Foreign Ministry spokesman Majed bin Mohammed Al-Ansari said “the media reports about the State of Qatar's withdrawal from mediation regarding the ceasefire in Gaza are not accurate.”

He added that Qatar “notified the parties 10 days ago during the last attempts to reach an agreement, that it would stall its efforts to mediate between Hamas and Israel if an agreement was not reached in that round."

The statement said Doha "will resume those efforts with its partners when the parties show their willingness and seriousness to end the brutal war and the ongoing suffering of civilians."

The spokesman said Qatar “will not accept that mediation be a reason for blackmailing it."

He said since the initial truce last November, there have been manipulative tactics, including reneging from obligations agreed upon through mediation, and exploiting the negotiations to justify the continuation of the war to serve "narrow political purposes."

Al Ansari also called reports concerning the closure Hamas political office in Doha as “inaccurate," saying its primary purpose is to be a "channel of communication" between the parties concerned, and the channel has contributed to achieving a cease-fire earlier.

He stressed the need to obtain information from official sources.

International media earlier claimed that Qatar will stop trying to mediate a Gaza cease-fire and hostage release deal until Hamas and Israel are willing to resume talks, and that it has told Hamas leaders they were no longer welcome in the Gulf country.

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken's latest weeklong trip to the Middle East ended in late October without any breakthrough.

The war in Gaza began after the Oct. 7, 2023 Hamas cross-border incursion that killed around 1,200 people and about 250 others were taken as hostages. Israel since then has killed more than 43,000 Palestinians.

The Gulf country has been working alongside the US and Egypt for ending the war and the return of hostages.

Russia, North Korea ratify strategic partnership, pledge mutual defense

One key component of the agreement is the joint opposition to Western sanctions, which Moscow and Pyongyang describe as "unilateral coercive measures" that violate international law.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has officially ratified a comprehensive strategic partnership agreement with North Korea, strengthening military and political ties with the heavily sanctioned state amid growing international tensions.

The treaty, initially signed by Putin and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un during Putin's visit to Pyongyang in June, includes mutual pledges of defense and a commitment to oppose Western sanctions.

The Russian State Duma unanimously endorsed the agreement in October, with final approval granted by the Federation Council on November 6.

Putin's signature on November 9 brings the treaty close to full enactment, with ratification set to be exchanged between Moscow and Pyongyang in the coming days.

The agreement outlines that Russia and the North Korea will provide "military and other assistance by all means" if either party faces armed aggression.

This aligns with Article 51 of the UN Charter, whereby the two establish a formal commitment to defend each other against foreign attacks.

The treaty also stipulates that neither nation will sign agreements with third parties that could threaten the other's sovereignty, security, or other critical interests.

Opposing sanctions

Another key component of the agreement is the joint opposition to Western sanctions, which Moscow and Pyongyang describe as "unilateral coercive measures" that violate international law.

Both countries have committed not to impose sanctions on each other, noting their shared stance against extraterritorial and unlawful actions by Western states.

North Korean Foreign Minister Choe Son-hui affirmed Pyongyang's support for Russia in its conflict with Ukraine, stating that North Korea believes in Russia's eventual victory and will stand by Moscow for as long as necessary.

Militarizing Korean Peninsula

For years, the US, South Korea, and Japan have conducted joint military drills on and around the Korean Peninsula, a strategy they claim is aimed at reinforcing regional defense but one that has also provoked sharp reactions from the North Korea.

The North Korea has constantly affirmed that it views these exercises as direct threats, often responding with escalatory measures, including missile tests and military demonstrations, which it deems necessary for its defense.

Lately, the North Korea's strategic partnership with Russia has sparked allegations that North Korean troops are participating in efforts to support Russia in its special military operation against Ukraine.

The Russian Foreign Ministry responded to these claims, asserting that cooperation between Russia and North Korea is in line with international law and not directed against South Korea's security interests.

"Cooperation between the Russian Federation and North Korea is carried out within the framework of international law and is not directed against the security interests of the Republic of Korea," a spokesperson of the Russian Foreign Ministry said.

In June, South Korea decided to consider the possibility of arming Ukraine following the signing of the Russian- North Korea defense treaty.

Iran president confident Riyadh summit can help end Israeli crimes

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian says he is confident that an extraordinary meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and Arab League will yield "effective and tangible" outcomes in halting the Israeli regime’s aggression in Gaza and Lebanon.

Pezeshkian made the remark in a phone conversation with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman on Sunday as Riyadh is expected to host Arab and Muslim leaders for a summit scheduled for Monday that will focus on Israel's wars in Gaza and Lebanon.

The joint OIC-Arab League summit is scheduled to discuss the continued Israeli genocidal war in Gaza and its aggression on Lebanon as well as the current developments in the region.

“I have no doubt that this summit will have effective and tangible results leading to the cessation of the Zionist regime’s crimes and the war and bloodshed in Gaza and Lebanon,” Pezeshkian said.

He added that he could not accept the invitation of the Saudi King to take part in the summit due to his heavy executive work, but noted that the first Vice President Mohammad Reza Aref would participate in the event.

The Iranian president expressed hope that Tehran and Riyadh will further improve relations in all fields given the determination of both sides.

The Saudi crown prince hailed a historical turning point in Tehran-Riyadh relations and expressed hope that mutual ties will reach the highest levels in all fields.

Salman added that he would take the opportunity of the Iranian vice president’s presence in Riyadh to discuss ways to expand relations.

He once again invited the Iranian president to travel to Saudi Arabia and hoped grounds would be prepared in this regard as soon as possible.

Earlier on Sunday, Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces Major General Mohammad Baqeri and Saudi Chief of General Staff General Fayyad bin Hamed al-Ruwaili discussed in Tehran the promotion of defense diplomacy as the Israeli regime continues to significantly escalate tensions in the region.

In March 2023, Iran and Saudi Arabia agreed under a Chinese-brokered deal to restore diplomatic relations severed in 2016.

As part of a joint statement issued by the two sides, Iran and Saudi Arabia agreed to implement a security cooperation agreement signed in April 2001 and another accord reached in May 1998 to boost ties in various sectors.

Meet foreign mercenaries hired by Israel to slaughter people in Gaza and Lebanon

By Alireza Akbari

Exactly 400 days into the genocidal war against brave and unyielding Palestinians in Gaza, the Israeli military has suffered enormously with conscripts refusing to turn up for military duty.

As per admissions of the Israeli political and military leadership - both past and present - the military objectives have not been achieved in Gaza more than 13 months since the war was launched and despite the world's largest open-air concentration camp turning into the world's biggest cemetery.

Tens of thousands of settlers have reportedly fled the occupied territories to avoid mandatory military duties while many have refused to don the military uniform in a show of defiance.

To hire personnel, the regime issued recruitment orders to Haredi youth—traditionally exempted from compulsory service—but only managed to enlist fewer than 4 percent of the 3,000 individuals.

To fill the vacuum created by the Israeli settlers, the regime has hired tens of thousands of foreign mercenaries to fight against the Palestinian resistance fighters in the coastal territory.

These foreign mercenaries are hired through programs such as Mahal and Lone Soldiers.

The Mahal initiative permits young Jews from abroad to serve in the Israeli army without needing to immigrate, while Lone Soldiers—who lack immediate family in Israel—receive specialized support, including housing, financial assistance, and social services.

Reports indicate that foreign recruits typically receive compensation comparable to that of regular IOF soldiers. However, some mercenaries are reportedly earning much higher wages, with weekly payments reaching approximately $4,300.

Most of these foreign mercenaries were recruited by the Israeli regime specifically to fight its dirty genocidal war on the Gaza Strip, enticed by promises of substantial monetary benefits and Israeli citizenship.

Some of those recruited for this war on Gaza have completed their short-term contracts and returned to their respective countries.

However, most others who accepted the regime's citizenship offer chose to stay.

This is precisely what sets them apart from regular Israeli settlers or conscripted soldiers who have become increasingly disillusioned and are unwilling to fight in a losing cause.

Press TV website analysis revealed that mercenaries fighting the Israeli regime's war in Gaza, as well as in Lebanon, belong to different countries - from Asia to Africa to Latin America to Europe to the US.

Mercenaries fighting for Israeli occupation

A Twitter account named "Israel Genocide Tracker" has been publishing the names of foreign nationals involved in Israel’s ongoing genocidal war in the Gaza Strip and Lebanon.

Press TV website analyzed and examined all these cases of foreign mercenaries enrolled by the Israeli regime, who have been documenting their horrendous war crimes on social media platforms.

Ilay Trabelsi is of North African descent. He has been fighting in the Israeli military's Givati Battalion and has shared images showcasing his involvement in genocidal crimes in Gaza.

Amit Gendler is a mercenary of Russian descent. He has served in the Givati 435th Rotem Battalion of the Israeli occupation military. He ruthlessly vandalized Palestinian homes amid the genocidal war on Gaza and documented the war crimes himself.

He posted images of an invasion of a hospital, where he kidnapped Palestinians seeking refuge. He is also accused of participating in the destruction of homes and schools in Jabalia, as well as the invasion of southern Lebanon, raiding and looting the homes of displaced Lebanese before detonating them.

Following his reserve service, he is reported to be vacationing in Prague, Czech Republic.

Dan Nahmani is an Israeli American soldier. He served in Givati's 424th Infantry Battalion "Shaked" amid the ongoing genocide in Gaza and the occupation of Rafah Crossing in southern Gaza.

Shalev Zino is an Israeli military reservist of North African heritage. He served with the Givati Brigade's 424 Battalion of the Israeli military during the current genocidal war on Gaza.

He has posted images that showcase his military unit occupying and demolishing the homes of displaced Palestinians.

Liad Ohayon is of Moroccan origin. He served in the Givati Brigade's Shaked Battalion during the genocide in Gaza. He and others from his unit took a vacation in Austria following their service.

He, along with other occupation soldiers, celebrated the completion of their military service on the Al-Azhar University campus, which had been used as a military base and was subsequently detonated upon their withdrawal from there.

Asaf Paz is an Israeli-Argentinian reservist. He served as a gunner in Givati's 435th Battalion during the genocide in Gaza. His battalion occupied a school, forcibly evicting and kidnapping displaced Palestinian families seeking refuge there and converting it for military use.

Tamir Camisa is of Italian descent. He documented his role as a gunner in the Latak Unit of Givati's 435th Battalion during the Gaza genocide.

He and his unit have been engaged in ethnic cleansing in Jabalia. He also shared his GoPro footage of raiding displaced Palestinian homes and randomly shooting during the invasion of Deir al-Balah and Khan Yunis in northern and southern Gaza respectively.
