YAF target Ben Gurion Airport, vital site in response to Gaza genocide

Yemeni Armed Forces launched a dual missile operation targeting Ben Gurion Airport and an Israeli site in occupied Yafa using hypersonic and Zulfiqar missiles, in support of Gaza.

In a direct response to the ongoing genocide committed by the Israeli enemy against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, Brigadier General Yahya Saree announced that the missile force of the Yemeni Armed Forces (YAF) carried out a high-level dual military operation early this week.

The operation included the launch of a Palestine-2 hypersonic missile, which struck al-Lydd Airport, known as Ben Gurion Airport, in the occupied city of Yafa [Tel Aviv]. The strike forced the facility to halt operations and sent millions of settlers into shelters.

Zulfiqar missile hits vital Israeli target

In parallel, a second missile of the Zulfiqar type targeted a key Israeli site east of occupied Yafa. The operation, according to the Armed Forces’ statement, successfully achieved its intended objectives, disrupting enemy infrastructure and reinforcing support for the steadfast Palestinian resistance in Gaza.

The YAF confirmed that the operation significantly impacted the Israeli entityメs air travel operations and sent waves of panic throughout the occupation’s infrastructure. The continued disruption at Ben Gurion Airport marked a notable escalation in the Yemeni response to the siege and starvation being imposed on Gaza.

A response to genocide in Gaza and Al-Aqsa desecration

The operation was also carried out in response to the storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque and the desecration of its holy courtyards by thousands of illegal settlers.

The YAF emphasized that these continued violations, combined with the starvation and aggression in Gaza, represent an unprecedented atrocity in modern history, one that demands action from all free people and nations.

Sirens sound in occupied West Bank due to a Yemeni missile attack

Earlier today, sirens sounded in several settlements in the occupied West Bank after a missile attack was reportedly launched from Yemen.

Illegal Israeli settlers located east of the city of Nablus, including in Gilgal, Shomron, Amichai, Achita, Itamar, Shvut Rachel, Adei Ad, Kida, Masua, Argaman, Yafit, Roee, Ma'aleh Ephraim, Hamra, Tomer, Gitit, Beka'ot, Petza'el, and Mekhora, were all warned and directed to shelters at dawn on Tuesday.

Israeli occupation forces claimed that the missile coming from Yemen was shot down.

Hamas calls for global rage as Gaza death toll surpasses 54,000

Israeli airstrikes across Gaza have killed 79 and injured 163 in 24 hours, while UN slams aid diversion as forced displacement and environmental collapse worsen the humanitarian crisis.

The Gaza Strip witnessed another bloody day as Israeli occupation forces intensified their raids across the territory, targeting the north, center, and south. According to Al Mayadeen’s correspondent and a statement by the Palestinian Ministry of Health, 79 Palestinians were martyred and 163 were injured in the past 24 hours alone.

The Ministry added that dozens of bodies remain trapped beneath the rubble amid heavy shelling, particularly in the northern areas, which continues to hinder access to hospitals.

Massacres reported

In northern Gaza, Israeli drones and warplanes targeted multiple neighborhoods and camps.

A house in the Saftawi neighborhood was struck, killing several civilians. Another raid on the al-Sha'af area of the al-Tuffah neighborhood resulted in multiple casualties, while a separate attack was recorded in the Bir al-Na'ja area, west of Jabalia camp.

In the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, northwest of Gaza City, a direct airstrike on a house left several civilians injured. One of the most tragic incidents occurred in the al-Tuffah neighborhood, where occupation forces targeted a food pantry inside Shaaban al-Rayyes School, killing three civilians who had gathered for aid and injuring others.

In central Gaza, warplanes struck the al-Zahraa area, north of the al-Nuseirat refugee camp, killing two civilians. Meanwhile, in southern Gaza, Israeli occupation forces targeted a tent sheltering displaced persons west of Khan Younis, leaving two civilians dead and several others wounded.

Private aid operation is a 'distraction' from humanitarian needs, says UN

As the humanitarian situation worsens, Jens Laerke, spokesperson for the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), criticized the recent distribution mechanism led by a private American foundation. Laerke called the initiative a "distraction from what is actually needed," emphasizing the urgent need to open all crossings and allow safe, expedited entry for medical and food supplies.

Over 180,000 displaced in 10 days

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) reported that the Israeli aggression between May 15 and 25 resulted in the forced displacement of nearly 180,000 people within Gaza.

The total death toll from the Israeli aggression, which began on October 7, 2023, has now reached approximately 54,056 martyrs and 123,129 wounded. Since March 18, 2025, the death toll has climbed to 3,901 martyrs and 11,088 wounded.

Environmental collapse threatens Gaza with waste pile-up

The Gaza Municipality warned of a looming health and environmental disaster as more than 250,000 tons of waste have accumulated across the city amid the collapse of infrastructure and interruption of essential services.

Hamas calls for global days of rage

In response to the ongoing massacres and starvation, Hamas has called for global days of rage on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

The call urges international solidarity with the people of Gaza and a rejection of what the movement described as “systematic genocide and starvation” targeting children and women in the besieged Strip.

Palestinian Information Center – May 27, 2025

Hamas denies Al-Arabiya claims of internal divisions

Hisham Qassem, Hamas’s media official abroad, has dismissed as false a report aired by Al-Arabiya TV alleging internal disputes between the Movement’s political leadership and military command in Gaza over the issue of an Israeli captive.

In a press statement on Tuesday, Qassem called the report “baseless,” describing it as part of a smear campaign targeting the resistance leadership amid the ongoing genocide and blockade in the Gaza Strip.

“The report aired by Al-Arabiya is filled with lies and fabricated accusations,” he said. “It comes at a time when our people are enduring a brutal campaign of extermination and starvation carried out by the Israeli occupation forces (IOF),” he added.

Qassem further criticized Al-Arabiya for echoing what he described as the Zionist occupation’s propaganda and called on the channel’s management to issue an official apology and refrain from participating in the distortion of the Palestinian resistance’s image.

He added that Al-Arabiya has repeatedly published unfounded claims intended to delegitimize both the resistance and the broader Palestinian struggle, particularly as the people of Gaza face relentless attacks, displacement, and the collapse of basic living conditions under ongoing IOF aggression.

Iran tells US media: Uranium enrichment ‘non-negotiable’; Iranians ‘impervious’ to pressure

The Foreign Ministry spokesman has asserted that the Iranian nation remains impervious to the United States pressure tactics, ruling out the Islamic Republic’s relinquishing of its inalienable and sovereign right to peaceful nuclear energy as per Washington’s demands.

“Iranians would not be conducive to any sort of pressure,” Esmaeil Baghaei told CNN in remarks that the channel published on its website.

“When it comes to using that language, Iranians will come with one voice, and we will certainly defend our national security,” he added.

The official remarked on various American officials’ repeated insistence on the country’s abandoning its uranium enrichment activities altogether.

“If the [US’s] intention is to deprive Iranians of their right to peaceful nuclear energy, I think that would be very problematic to the extent that I think it would really challenge the whole process,” he said.

Baghaei was referring to indirect talks that have been underway with Omani mediation between the two sides since April 12.

“The fact that so far we have continued our talks means that we understand there is a certain level of understanding that Iran cannot under any circumstances give up its right to peaceful nuclear energy,” he said.

The United States, along with its key regional ally, the Israeli regime, has consistently demanded a full cessation of Iran's peaceful nuclear enrichment activities.

Despite the pressure, Tehran has firmly stood on its sovereign right to pursue peaceful nuclear enrichment for civilian purposes.

Recently, Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei noted that it was "completely wrong" for the US to insist on Iran’s halting its peaceful uranium enrichment efforts, emphasizing that the Islamic Republic did not seek permission from any foreign power to continue its enrichment activities.

Baghaei, however, said it was still possible for the two sides to reach a compromise.

“If really there is a will, there’s ways,” he said. “There is not only one way, there are so many ways.”
