Yemen hits vital Israeli target in Yafa with hypersonic missile
The YAF spokesperson reiterates that the YAF's operations will not cease until the Israeli aggression against Gaza ends and the siege imposed on the Palestinian Strip is lifted.
The missile force of the Yemeni Armed Forces (YAF) carried out an operation targeting a vital site in the occupied Yafa region using a hypersonic missile of the Palestine 2 type, YAF spokesperson Brigadier General Yahya Saree announced on Sunday.
The missile successfully struck its target, Saree confirmed, stressing that the operation was "in solidarity with the oppressed Palestinian people and their resistance fighters and in response to the crimes committed by the Israeli enemy against our brethren in the Gaza Strip."
The spokesperson affirmed that the YAF, in light of the ongoing Israeli crimes in the Gaza Strip, will intensify their military operations using missiles and drones as part of their religious, moral, and humanitarian duty to support and assist the Resistance fighters in Gaza and the occupied West Bank.
Elsewhere, he reiterated that the YAF's operations will not cease until the Israeli aggression against Gaza ends and the siege imposed on the Palestinian Strip is lifted.
Earlier on Sunday, sirens sounded across multiple settlements and areas in central Israeli-occupied Palestine, following a reported missile attack from Yemen.
Alerts were issued in several city settlements in occupied Palestine and occupied cities of al-Lid, Ramleh, Rehovot, and Beit Shemesh
The Israeli military said the details of the attack were still under investigation and later released a preliminary report saying the missile was intercepted.
Meanwhile, the Israeli Army Radio that four settlers were injured as they rushed to bomb shelters.

Day 422 of Israeli genocide in Gaza: 44,429 killed, 105,250 injured
The United Nations underlines that Israeli occupation forces either impeded or denied all life-saving aid bids in northern Gaza.
The number of Palestinians killed since the start of the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip has risen to 44,429, martyrs, with 105,250 injured since October 7, 2023, the Gaza Health Ministry announced on Sunday.
In its daily report on the 422nd day of the genocide, the Ministry noted that Israeli occupation forces committed six massacres against civilians in the Gaza Strip in 24 hours, killing 47 people and injuring 188 others who were transported to hospitals.
UN suspends humanitarian aid through the Karem Abu Salem crossing
Commissioner-General of UNRWA Philippe Lazzarini announced the suspension of humanitarian aid deliveries through the Karem Abu Salem crossing, Gaza's primary entry point for assistance.
In a post on X, he emphasized that the route has been unsafe for months.
Larizzine described the situation as increasingly dire, noting that hunger is intensifying in Gaza. He stressed that delivering humanitarian aid should never become a dangerous and arduous process.
The aid operation in Gaza, as per the Comissioner-General, has become nearly impossible due to several factors: the ongoing siege, obstacles imposed by Israeli authorities, political restrictions on aid amounts, unsafe delivery routes, and the targeting of local police.
As the occupying power, "Israel" is responsible for protecting aid workers and supplies, Larizzine stated, urging the entity to ensure safe aid delivery and cease attacks on humanitarian personnel. He also reiterated the call for a ceasefire, which would facilitate the safe and uninterrupted delivery of aid to those in need.
It is worth noting that UN Chief Antonio Guterres has similarly called for a halt to hostilities to allow essential aid to reach Gaza’s population.
Over 100 martyrs in 24 hours; Gaza's North plunged in siege, famine
Israeli airstrikes and artillery bombardments continued relentlessly across the Gaza Strip over the past hours, targeting homes and displaced people's shelters, leaving dozens of martyrs and scores of injured. The death toll from these attacks has now risen to at least 100 martyrs in the past 24 hours.
Nineteen people were reportedly killed in Israeli airstrikes that primarily targeted Khan Younis in southern Gaza. Among the fatalities were two children killed when an Israeli helicopter targeted a tent housing forcibly displaced families in the southwest al-Mawasi area of Khan Younis.
In addition to these strikes, Israeli forces targeted the area east of the al-Amour neighborhood in the town of al-Fukhari in Khan Younis.
58th day of siege and starvation
For the 58th consecutive day, northern Gaza remains under an ongoing Israeli siege, with air and artillery bombardments isolating the region from the rest of Gaza.
Israeli airstrikes targeted the Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza, with the Israeli military reportedly demolishing residential buildings in the western part of the camp. Helicopter gunfire and smoke bombs were also fired in the direction of the eastern part of the camp.
The siege has paralyzed civil defense operations in the region, leaving thousands of residents without access to humanitarian aid or medical assistance. For the 40th consecutive day, civil defense teams have been unable to carry out their work due to the relentless Israeli bombardments.
In the central Gaza Strip, Israeli shelling hit a home in the al-Mufti area of the Nuseirat refugee camp. A martyr was reported following this attack early Sunday morning.
On Saturday, Gaza’s Civil Defense reported that over 40 Palestinians were killed in an Israeli airstrike targeting a house that was sheltering more than 100 displaced people in the Tal Zaatar area in northern Gaza.

Syrian Army fortifies Hama positions, liberates captured areas
Syrian state TV announces that the Syrian Army's confrontations in the past three days with the al-Nusra Front led to the killing of around a thousand militants.
Syrian Army units operating in the northern countryside of Hama strengthened their defensive lines last night with various firepower assets, a Syrian military source confirmed to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) on Sunday.
"Our forces operating in the northern countryside of Hama repelled terrorist organizations, preventing them from achieving any breakthroughs," the source said, adding that the Syrian Amry successfully liberated several areas after expelling terrorists, most notably Qal’at al-Madiq and the village of Ma’ardas in Hama.
Syrian state TV also announced that the Syrian Army's confrontations in the past three days with HTS led to the killing of around a thousand militants.
Meanwhile, Al Mayadeen's correspondent in Damascus reported that Syrian and Russian warplanes targeted militant movements in the villages of Hazarin and Rakaya in the southern countryside of Idlib.
Later, he confirmed that the Syrian army regained control of several towns in the northern Hama countryside, reaching the eastern Hama countryside.
Our correspondent noted that the airstrikes targeted positions of the Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) terrorist group near Khan Sheikhoun in southern Idlib and Morek in the northern countryside of Hama, adding that Syrian Army forces recaptured the town of Halfaya in the area.
Moreover, Al Mayadeen's correspondent maintained that the circulated reports that armed groups have taken control of the village of Mahardah and the city of al-Saqlabiyah in the Hama countryside and that they are advancing toward the village of Salamiyah are not true.
The Syrian army and allied forces also liberated the town of Taybat al-Imam, the village of Khirbet al-Hijama, and Soran in the northern Hama countryside, according to our correspondent, who also indicated that the Syrian Army is fortifying its positions in Hama and its northern regions, maintaining direct frontlines with southern Idlib.
Syrian Army repels attempted advances in far southern countryside of Aleppo
In a related context, the Syrian Army successfully repelled attempts by militant groups to advance in the far southern countryside of Aleppo near the Abu al-Duhur military airport, according to Al Mayadeen’s correspondent in Damascus.
The armed groups also failed to gain ground or capture the town of Khanaser in the Aleppo countryside.
Contrary to circulating reports, our correspondent confirmed that the terrorist groups have not made any advances toward the Defense Factories or the Scientific Research Center in the southern Aleppo countryside, nor have they seized the towns of Tal Aran and Tal Hasel. These areas, along with the cities of Safira, Deir Hafer, Khafsah, and Maskanah in Aleppo countryside, remain under the control of the Syrian Army.
In the Latakia countryside, the Syrian Army thwarted infiltration attempts by armed groups toward the town of Salma. Meanwhile, in the Hama countryside, the Army recaptured the towns of al-Samman and al-Jab, as well as seven additional villages.
According to our correspondent, airstrikes carried out by Syrian and Russian forces targeted a broad area spanning from the western Aleppo countryside to the center of Idlib city. Additional airstrikes focused on armed group positions near the city of Morek in northern Hama province.
He pointed out that armed groups reportedly admitted to the loss of more than 80 militants, with dozens more injured, following an airstrike on the al-Bassel roundabout in Aleppo.
Syrian MoD refutes withdrawal claims
On Saturday, the Syrian Ministry of Defense issued a statement denying reports circulated by terrorist organizations regarding the Syrian Army's withdrawal from Hama.
The Ministry affirmed that military units are stationed in their positions in the northern and eastern countryside of Hama.
"Our armed forces units remain in their positions in the northern and eastern countryside of Hama and are fully prepared to repel any potential terrorist attack," it affirmed.
Simultaneously, the Syrian Army reiterated its commitment to ongoing operations to confront terrorist organizations, expel them, and restore state authority and institutions across Aleppo and its countryside.
Syrian Army units have redeployed toward Aleppo International Airport to prevent the destruction of the city's neighborhoods, while Syrian warplanes continue to target militant gatherings in Aleppo and its surrounding areas.
Russian coordination
On its part, the Russian Reconciliation Center in Syria announced the elimination of at least 300 militants in the provinces of Aleppo and Idlib in northern Syria, in coordination with the Syrian Army.
This comes after militants affiliated with the Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham, supported by thousands of foreign mercenaries, heavy weaponry, and numerous drones, launched a large-scale offensive from multiple fronts in Aleppo and Idlib.
Yesterday, Syria’s military announced a “temporary troop withdrawal” in Aleppo, saying dozens of its soldiers had been killed or wounded in fierce battles with “armed terrorist organizations” in the governorates of Aleppo and Idlib over the previous few days.
It added that it was now regrouping, redeploying troops to strengthen its defense lines as it prepared a “counterattack”.
The army said the terrorists had entered large parts of Aleppo but army bombardment had stopped them from establishing fixed positions. It promised to “expel them and restore the control of the state… over the entire city and its countryside."
Thousands honor Martyr Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah at assassination site
Thousands of Lebanese people have gathered at the site of an Israeli strike that assassinated Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah to pay tribute to the late leader of the Hezbollah resistance movement.
The memorial ceremony, titled Light from Light, took place on Saturday night around the edges of the crater left behind by Israel's terrorist attack in Beirut’s southern suburbs of Dahiyeh.
The participants, many in tears, held Hezbollah flags, candles, and pictures of the martyred Hezbollah chief while chanting “At your service, Nasrallah.”
Loudspeakers also played speeches by the prominent resistance leader and red lights lit up the area, which had been opened for the first time for a public memorial.
“For these two and half months we have refused to believe that he is really gone,” said 31-year-old Narjis Khshaish. “We have all just been waiting to reach this place to receive his blessings.”
Moussa Dirani, another participant at Saturday's event, said that "the resistance does not stop with Nasrallah, his death gives us the power to continue along his path.”
Israel launched its bloody acts of terror and aggression across the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023, killing close to 45,000 Palestinians to date.
In a show of solidarity with the people of Gaza, Hezbollah established a support front against the Israeli regime on October 8 of the previous year.
Tensions between Hezbollah and Israel have intensified since mid-September, further escalating the ongoing conflict.
On September 27, the criminal regime assassinated Nasrallah using American-supplied bunker-buster bombs.
It led Hezbollah to intensify its retaliatory operations against Israeli targets in the occupied territories.
A few days ago, Israel was forced to accept a ceasefire with Hezbollah after suffering heavy losses following more than 14 months of fighting and failing to achieve its goals in its aggression on Lebanon. The truce was widely hailed as a victory for the Lebanese resistance group.
The people who commemorated Nasrallah were those "who have lost their homes, lost their siblings, lost their families, lost their livelihoods, lost their mothers, and lost their brothers," Lebanon's al-Mayadeen television network reported.
"These are the people whom the enemy expected to break. Today, they stand at the site of the martyrdom of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah to say to him: ... We came with victory once again, and again, and again."

What is Tahrir al-Sham, Israel-backed terror group that attacked Aleppo?
By Ivan Kesic
Shortly after the announcement of a ceasefire in Lebanon, the Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham terrorist group, backed by the Israeli regime, launched a fresh aggression on the Syrian city of Aleppo
Thousands of members of the Takfiri terrorist group, popularly known as Tahrir al-Sham (formerly Jabhat al-Nusra), launched the offensive against Aleppo in northwestern Syria on Wednesday.
Using rocket launchers and mortars, they made daring advances in the Qabtan al-Jabal, Bala, and Sheikh Aqil areas of western Aleppo before the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) confronted them.
In a well-coordinated counteroffensive, with the help of the Russian Air Force, SAA has so far killed more than 1,000 terrorists, most of them foreign mercenaries, according to the Syrian media.
In his remarks on Sunday, Syrian President Bashar al-Assad said terrorism only understands the language of force, and the Syrian military would use force to crush the terrorist group.
Which terrorist groups are involved in the attack?
Terrorist groups participating in the attack on Aleppo include primarily Tahrir al-Sham, but also Jaysh al-Izza, Suqour al-Sham, Ansar al-Tawhid, Hizb al-Turkistan, Ahl al-Sham, Ahrar al-Sham and various other splinter Takfiri groups patronized by the Israeli regime and Western powers.
Some media reports suggested that the Turkey-backed "National Army" militia also participated in the offensive alongside HTS, claiming that Ankara aims to leverage this opportunity to pressure the Syrian government into entering new negotiations to normalize relations with Ankara.
The Turkish government, however, has denied any involvement in the events unfolding in Aleppo.
How was Tahrir al-Sham formed?
Tahrir al-Sham, known in full as Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS), is a terrorist group based in Syria that was formed in 2017 as a result of a merger between Jabhat al-Nusra, Jabhat Fateh, Ansar al-Din, Jaysh al-Ahrar, Jaysh al-Sunna, Liwa al-Haqq, and Haraka Nour al-Din al-Zenki groups.
It was established as an attempt to unite terrorist groups and create a united front against the Syrian government led by President Bashar al-Assad, however, many of these groups later separated from Tahrir al-Sham or disbanded after a while.
Its core, Jabhat al-Nusra, a branch of the al-Qaeda terrorist group in Syria, made changes in its name and structure in the past years to distance itself from this parent organization and to attract more domestic and international support.
Tahrir al-Sham is active in the northwestern regions of Syria, especially in Idlib province, and is considered one of the main players in the West-backed Takfiri war against the Syrian government.
In addition to fighting with government forces, Tahrir al-Sham has also entered into conflict with many other armed groups, including former allies.
Widely known for atrocities against Syrian civilians and government forces, Tahrir al-Sham is designated as a terrorist organization by many countries, including the United States and Russia.
While the US has, on paper, put it on the blacklist, Washington's support has kept the group going.
What is the group's ideology?
Tahrir al-Sham follows the Takfiri ideology, a set of extreme ideas that emerged from Arabian Salafism, but has consciously tried to present an image independent of al-Qaeda and other similar groups.
Leading Islamic authorities have compared Takfiri ideology to an invasive species that attempts to uproot all other variations and bring them to the brink of extinction.
This intolerant and hate-driven ideology spread thanks to the influence of rich petrostates and their donations, with the encouragement and approval of Western powers who saw it as a useful tool.
Western media often emphasizes their wider "Sunni" prefix instead of narrowing it to extremist Takfiri ideology, which is in line with the adopted policy of spreading discord among Muslims and misrepresenting counterterrorism as the so-called "Sunni-Shia conflict."
Who is Abu Mohammad al-Julani?
The top leader of the Tahrir al-Sham terrorist group is Abu Mohammad al-Julani, born Ahmed Hussein al-Shara, who was previously infamous as the commander of Jabhat al-Nusra.
His family is originally from Idlib province, and he was born in 1982 in al-Shaheil township of the city of Deir Ezzor in eastern Syria, as his father was a driver working there.
After the 2003 US invasion of Iraq, he dropped out of university and joined al-Qaeda in his country, operating under the command of Abu Musab al-Zarqawi and his successors.
He progressed rapidly in the ranks of the Al-Qaeda group and became a close aide of al-Zarqawi.
After al-Zarqawi was assassinated in an American airstrike in 2006, al-Julani left Iraq and went to Lebanon, and it is believed that he oversaw the training of Jund al-Sham, a group linked to al-Qaeda.
Al-Julani again went to Iraq from Lebanon and the Americans arrested and imprisoned him, but in 2008 he was freed and allowed to work with the Daesh terrorist group led by Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.
Although the Tahrir al-Sham board has tried to show its separation from al-Qaeda by changing its name and replacing its leaders, according to many analysts, both groups continue to work in tandem.
And, both groups continue to be sponsored by the United States and the Israeli regime to push their objectives aimed at destabilization of the West Asia region.
