This includes the occupied cities and city settlements of Tel Aviv, Herzliya, Rishon LeZion, Beit Shemesh, and Petach Tikva, among other areas.

At least 11 Israeli settlers were injured while rushing into bomb shelters, according to Israeli media outlets. Meanwhile, the Israeli military command said that several interception attempts were made to down a ballistic missile launched from Yemen. Moreover, Israeli authorities are yet to confirm whether or not the missile was successfully downed.

On the other hand, the Yemeni Armed Forces' spokesperson Brigadier General Yahya Saree announced on Tuesday morning the details of this latest strike.

He explained that the YAF fired a Palestine-2 hypersonic ballistic missile aimed at the Israeli Security Ministry in Tel Aviv. Saree said that the missile surpassed enemy defenses and reached its target.

Earlier on Monday, the YAF's Rocket Force fired a Palestine-2 missile at a vital Israeli site in occupied Yafa (Tel Aviv), Saree announced.

Additionally, the YAF's Unmanned Air Force conducted a top-tier military operation targeting vital Israeli sites in Yafa with four one-way attack drones, Saree added, confirming that the two operations successfully achieved their objectives.

The spokesperson said the operations came in solidarity with the Palestinian people and their Resistance, in response to the Israeli massacres in Gaza, and in retaliation for the renewed Israeli aggression on Yemen.

Al Mayadeen – January 13, 2025

Yemeni Air Force hit vital Israeli sites in Tel Aviv with ballistic missile, drones

YAF spokesperson Brigadier General Yahya Saree confirms that the two operations successfully achieved their objectives.

The Yemeni Armed Forces’ missile force carried out a military operation targeting a vital Israeli site in the occupied area of Yafa (Tel Aviv) using a Palestine-2 hypersonic ballistic missile, YAF spokesperson Brigadier General Yahya Saree announced on Monday eveningBrigadier Yahya.

Additionally, the YAF's air force conducted a top-tier military operation targeting vital Israeli sites in Yafa with four drones, Saree added, confirming that the two operations successfully achieved their objectives.

The Yemeni spokesperson said the operations were in solidarity with the Palestinian people and their Resistance, in response to the Israeli massacres in Gaza, and in retaliation against the Israeli aggression on Yemen.

The YAF "commend the heroic operations of the Palestinian Resistance in the Gaza Strip and reaffirm their commitment to continuing military operations against the Israeli enemy until the aggression ceases and the blockade on Gaza is lifted," Saree emphasized.

Earlier on Monday, Israeli media reported that sirens sounded in several Israeli settlements and cities in the central areas of the occupied Palestinian territories following the launch of a missile from Yemen.

Askalan, Tel Aviv targeted last week

Last week, the YAF UAV force conducted multiple strikes against Israeli sites, with one operation targeting a vital site in occupied Askalan with a drone and another targeting a military site in occupied Yafa also with drones.

A day earlier, the YAF missile force carried out a military operation targeting the Israeli Orot Rabin power plant in the southern region of occupied Haifa using a Palestine-2 hypersonic ballistic missile.

On Saturday, Mohammed Ali al-Houthi, a member of Yemen's Supreme Political Council, affirmed during an exclusive interview with Al Mayadeen that the intensification of support operations for Gaza came in response to the demands of the Yemeni masses and the Palestinian Resistance factions in Gaza.

He underlined that these operations will persist until the assault on Gaza ends, adding that they are made possible due to Yemen's advanced military capabilities, enhanced to counter the Israeli aggression.

Although international aggression on Yemen has intensified to obstruct its support for Palestine, al-Houthi stressed that "the American and British attacks will not affect our support operations for the people of Gaza, and the momentum and development will continue."

Al-Houthi also firmly rejected any requests to halt Yemeni operations in the Red Sea unless Israeli aggression and the siege on Gaza ended.

Israel kills over 50 Palestinians in Gaza in single day; no room for wounded in hospitals

Gaza’s Civil Defense says more than 50 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli airstrikes in the past 24 hours on the Gaza Strip, which is enduring a humanitarian catastrophe caused by a genocidal war.

Mahmoud Bassal, the agency’s spokesman, said Monday's deadly attacks by the occupation's military targeted "schools, homes and even gatherings of people" in Gaza.

One of the Israeli air raids struck a house in Gaza City's Shujaiya neighborhood, killing 11 people and injuring several others, he said in a statement.

The spokesman added that seven people lost their lives in the Israeli bombing of Gaza City's al-Maamal street while five others were killed in the aerial assaults on the Salaheddin al-Ayyubi school in al-Darraj neighborhood.

'Hospitals overwhelmed'

"There is no room in hospitals to receive the wounded," Bassal pointed out.

He also reported fatal Israeli strikes on the city of Jabalia in northern Gaza, as well as Khan Yunis and Rafah in the Palestinian territory's south.

Meanwhile, the Palestinian Wafa news agency said six people were killed and over 30 others wounded in an Israeli air raid which hit the Abu Qeinas family home in Gaza City.

It further noted that two more Palestinians lost their lives after Israeli warplanes targeted civilians sheltering near UNRWA schools in al-Nasr neighborhood, west of Gaza City.

Israel launched its bloody offensive against Gaza on October 7, 2023, after the Palestinian Hamas resistance group carried out a historic operation against the usurping entity in retaliation for its intensified atrocities against the Palestinian people.

So far, the occupying regime has killed at least 46,584 Palestinians, mostly women and children, and injured 109,731 others, in the besieged territory.

During its brutal onslaught, Israel has targeted Gaza’s civilian infrastructure, including homes, hospitals, and schools, in blatant violation of international law.
